Emerging From Lockdown and The Pandemic

What’s the first thing you plan to do after the pandemic?

I’ve got a whole list of must do’s, such as meeting up with friends and loved ones, visiting favourite places and, of course, not having to plan ahead and be spontaneous.

But most of all, I just want to Live In The Moment, and not worry about who I can and can’t HUG. Hugging and being close to people I care about mean a lot to me. Physical face to face meetings and eye contact are so important to feel special, loved and connected. I hope people will emerge from this awful time focusing on REAL CONNECTIONS, instead of constant online presence and need to be everywhere all the time.

LIFE’S PRECIOUS.

What I’ve learned is how much the here and now matter in an ever changing world where quantity matters more than quality. Wrong. It’s the latter that brings special meaning into our lives. I’ve never subscribed to getting involved with too many things simultaneously. Instead I choose to invest time with what truly matters to me. A special event to look forward to, a meeting with a close friend and Real In Depth Conversations without restrictions.

PEOPLE MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE IN EACH OTHER’S LIVES. NOT KEEPING UP WITH THE LATEST TRENDS AND SOCIAL MEDIA GOSSIP.

The Internet’s a good place to stay tuned in with what goes on around us but NOT a substitute for who and what makes me happy and fulfilled.
I’ll cherish the small things I used to think would always be part of life and living;
Walking, shopping, going for a run in a park without a face mask and, significantly, giving someone I care about a hug when I and they want and need it.

THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE FOR ME IS THAT I’LL NOT PLAN AHEAD TOO MUCH AND BE GRATEFUL FOR THE SMALL THINGS I USED TO TAKE FOR GRANTED.

Life’s wonderful so make the most of it.

With much love, Hélene
